How it works
One conversation about the person, not the product. Health, daily needs, budget, timing, where the family is, and what your parent would choose if asked.
Two or three options that genuinely fit, with the trade-offs said out loud — including what each place is not good at, and when the answer is to wait.
Visits, paperwork, the move itself, the first weeks. We stay your point of contact afterwards, which is when most families find they still need one.
Not a call centre, and not a form that disappears. The person who takes your call is the person who has walked these buildings.
Heads the advisory, and still does the visits. Four years of walking these buildings, sitting with families and working out which two or three homes actually fit. If you call about a placement in Kolkata, you will most likely speak to Nihar.
Six years with Tribeca, the longest of the three. Works most often with families deciding from outside Kolkata — the visit they cannot make, the questions they cannot ask over a phone line. By the time you see a home, Risha has usually already been to it.
A year in, and works across the Kolkata homes. Usually takes the first conversation — the one about the person rather than the property — and then stays with the family through the visits, the paperwork and the first weeks after a move.
How we are paid. You can talk to us, get a shortlist and make an initial enquiry at no charge. Some hands-on advisory services are paid, and some partners pay us when a placement or a purchase completes. We tell you which applies to your situation before you decide anything.
Deciding from far away?
Many of the families who reach us are deciding from another city, or another country. The questions are different, and they are rarely the ones a brochure answers.
So we do it, and we tell you what we saw — including what we would not want for our own parent. You get the assessment, not a sales sheet.
Not a monthly report. Someone in Kolkata who already holds her file and will pick up the phone when you call at an odd hour, because your odd hour is our afternoon.
For the admission, the paperwork, the first difficult week. We are the point of contact on the ground when you cannot be, and we stay it after the move.
